Stephen King, my favorite author, is retiring soon, so I will need a new author to follow. Therefore, YES I AM interested in why these Harry Potter books are so popular. But I don't want to buy one if there's a chance I might not enjoy it. I like Stephen King, Thomas Harris, and Dean Koontz. A.K. Rollings (sp?)? Someone let me know if she'd interest me, please.

The reasons to love this story are too numerous to list. I won't even try because no one else would really be interested either.----- Original Message -----From: Kimberly ReidSent: Friday, January 17, 2003 7:51 AMSubject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] The Word Is Out
Well, let me tell you this. My daughter (who is currently 10 1/2) is also a Harry Potter enthusiast and she also ravenously read each new book Harry Potter book, in turn, as it was released. I, however, did not think I could possibly like them and so I didn't even bother attempting any of them.
However, when the first movie came out, I had to accompany my daughter to see it and was EXTREMELY pleasantly surprised at how well I liked it. And I think I actually enjoyed the second movie even more. I can't say why Joe likes it so much, but I can CERTAINLY understand why he would.
